Fort Wayne, Indiana- The United States Attorney’s Office announced the following activity:
DISPOSITIONS:

Shawn Karst of Huntington, 36, was sentenced by Judge Theresa L. Springmann to 60 months imprisonment and 4 years of supervised release after pleading guilty to the felony offense of intentionally manufacturing 100 or more marijuana plants, a Schedule I controlled substance. This case was the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Tina Nommay.

Daisy Richardson of Marion, 58, was sentenced by Judge Theresa L. Springmann to 12 months probation and ordered to pay $27, 950 in restitution after pleading guilty to the felony offense of knowingly or willfully convert to her own use over $24,000 in Social Security Administration (SSA) Child Insurance Benefit payments, by failing to report that the child was no longer in her care or custody. This case was the result of an investigation by the Social Security Administration. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Lovita Morris King.

James McClurg of Ft. Wayne, 46, was sentenced by Judge Theresa L. Springmann to 60 months imprisonment and 4 years of supervised release after pleading guilty to the felony offense of intentionally manufacturing 100 or more marijuana plants, a Schedule I controlled substance. This case was the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Tina Nommay.
